Our Story
A Farm and Family Ecosystem in Northern Michigan
Ox Heights integrates trees and animals in a family farm ecosystem (Silvopasture). We specialize in chestnuts, peaches, lamb, maple syrup, Christmas greenery, hardwood lumber, and northern white cedar products.
Our Primary Crop - Sweet Chestnuts
It all started with 9 Chestnut trees in 2016. Over the past 8 years our orchard has expanded to be the home to over 1000 grafted European Hybrid Chestnut trees with 8,000 lbs of nuts produced during 2024. Our family has grown up in the orchard helping to care for our "baby" chestnut trees.
